Online status Messages gets naughty

Don't be shocked to find a bizzare message like "While two may share two, and one of two is certainly one, one might be two" greeting you when you check your friend's online status message. Regular messages like "Not at my desk' or ‘Stepped out," are passe.

Youngsters have started customizing their own online status and each one is more creative or hilarious than the first. "Don't laugh at me, laugh at yourself", "And the show must go on", ‘Try again later', ‘Jillenu Oru Blue Billion', "You have no idea", "What would you do if I sang out of tune", etc are some to name a few.

While some of them are random one-liners, others have poems and songs defining their status. Says Usha, who is doing her BSc at St. Mary's College, "Several of my contacts have strange status messages. There is this girl who has put up ‘I think... therefore I'm single'. There are others who have songs like Diamonds are forever, Love me or hate me." Jasmine Pestonji, of Chermas, says that many people on her list have popular songs as their status.

The status messages sometimes reflect the state of mind of youngsters. 'you're driftwood floating underwater, breaking into pieces, pieces, pieves', 'Guys are like parking space, there arent good ones', 'I dont need your attitude, I have one of my own', are some that show attitude. 'Coughing away to glory' was one of the most hilarious health-related messages.

29 years old Srinivas Says. "A friend of mine was feeling depressed. His status showed 'Walking alone with my shadow'." Andrew, who's working as Graphic Designer in the Malaysia says that his friends keep changing the messages based on the songs they listen to.

Some messages are quite scandalising or rude, but they don't stop one from having a good laugh. SO, when you see a cool message on your friends list, compliment them for their creativity and put up your ideas for others to see.
