Pawan Kalyan's - Jana Sena Party

Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan is set to float a new party as "Jana Sena" ("People's Army") and make an official announcement about his political entry, party symbol, flag and other details in a press meet to be held at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) in Madhapur today evening.

Pawan Kalyan will be addressing a select gathering of fans numbering about 6,000. The actor is also expected to release a book that he has written on politics.

Pawan Kalyan's team has made special arrangements to telecast the press meet live in 28 centres across Andhra Pradesh and one center in Bangalore. Giant screens are being set up for live telecast in major places.

The party launch event will be live streamed online on a few websites. Idlebrain will be covering the event live HERE. Tv9 Telugu will also be live streaming the event HERE. One can also watch Pawan's speech HERE on Youtube.

Initial reports suggest that Jana Sena will contest only in 10-20 per cent of the 294 Assembly and 42 Lok Sabha seats. With a huge fan following in the youth, the 43-year-old actor can play spoil sport with main political parties in both the regions by attracting a good chunk of votes.

The ‘Power Star', who shares No. 1 slot in the Telugu film industry with Mahesh Babu, is riding on the crest of a wave of popularity with two back to back blockbuster hits of Gabbarsingh and Attaarintiki Daaredi.

Pawan Kalyan, a recluse person, headed the youth wing of Praja Rajyam founded by his actor brother Chiranjeevi five years ago. After a hectic tour across the State that witnessed flamboyant speeches, the actor suddenly disappeared from public life following the merger of the party with the Congress.

Reports suggested that he fell out with his brother after the merger. He wanted his brother to keep the party alive despite the setback at the polls.

Chiranjeevi launched his political party 'Praja Rajyam'

Actor Chiranjeevi on Tuesday announced the name of his political party, Praja Rajyam, amidst thunderous cheers from lakhs of hysteric fans and vowed to change the politics of Andhra Pradesh.

Giving full play to histrionics, Chiranjeevi, the son of a police constable, recounted the difficulties he had faced as a child in an emotion-choked voice and charged up the crowd in the temple town with a few interactions before announcing the name of his party with a dramatic countdown.

In fact, Chiranjeevi waited till sundown to announce his party’s name and stretched his speech till then, so that the display on the giant screen behind him and 18 screens located at the ground would be eye catching.

As the name of the party was splashed on the huge screens to the accompaniment of music, the 53-year old actor got a handicapped person to unfurl a green and white flag with a red sun in the middle.

Chiranjeevi's 'Praja Rajyam' flag

The roaring crowds surged ahead, breaking barricades and alarming security men, even as Chiranjeevi declared that he was entering politics to ensure social justice and development. Around 40 persons were injured in the melee.

“People want me to join politics,” said Chiranjeevi, who earlier entered the stage dramatically with his arms stretched wide.

“I am here to restore respect to politics. After spending 30 years in the glamorous world of films, I could have lived a cosy life. But I decided to be in your midst.” “How blessed are my eyes to see these crowds who love me,” said Chiranjeevi, as people roared in appreciation.

“I am overwhelmed by your support. Now it is time for me to give it back.” The actor in Chiranjeevi was in play throughout the speech, which was carefully crafted and touched upon all major issues though giving the appearance of spontaneity.

“Mine will be a democratic and secular party, born from the hearts of the people,” he said. “Its goal will be the contentment and happiness of the state.” Though high on rhetoric, the actor’s speech was devoid of courage or imagination when it came to crucial issues. He said he was not averse to a separate Telangana but added that his first priority would be trying to end the backwardness of the region. He also sought more “brainstorming” to solve the Maoist problem and said the issue of backward status to Kapus should be examined thoroughly.

However, Chiranjeevi vigorously opposed the concept of Special Economic Zones and said land was meant for cultivation.

“My top priority would be to make agriculture viable,” he said. “Even a soap manufacturer can decide the price of his product, but not a farmer.” The actor said that only at few people were cornering all benefits in societies and major communities were being denied opportunities and added that he would put an end to that. He said he was also aware of the plight of the middle classes who did not get the benefits of any scheme.

“They can neither send their kids to government schools nor pay huge fee at corporate schools,” he said.

Taking a subtle swipe at other political parties, Chiranjeevi said that his party had no rivals. “Problems are our rivals.

We have entered the battlefield but our battle is against problems,” he said.

Chirutha Review

Jeevi rating: 3/5
Analysis: The first half of the film is alright. The second half slows down a bit. The plus points of the film are Ram Charan Teja, songs and fights. On the flip side a better heroine and a better second half would have done wonders to the film. This film proves that Ram Charan Teja possess all qualities to become the next mega star. Chiranjeevi’s pulling capacity and Puri Jagan winning box office streak makes this film a hot proposition. We have to wait and see for the box office verdict.

Story: Chirutha Charan (Ram Charan Teja) has a bad childhood as his father was murdered in front of his eyes. And he had to own somebody else’s mistake and go to jail to save his mother. When he returns back, he realizes that his mother is dead. Then he is employed as a tour guide in Bangkok. Sanjana (Neha Sharma) - the daughter of a rich man - is on vacation to Bangkok along with her friends. The rest of the story is how they fall in love and how Charan takes revenge on the people who are responsible for the murder of his father.

Artists Performance: Ram Charan Teja is simply superb. His debut is undoubtedly one of the best debuts in Telugu film industry. He looks so soft outside. But in the film, he appeared like a man who is cutout for the masses with a slight beard and manly demeanor. He is as good as Chiranjeevi is dances department. There is amazing fluidity and rhythm in his body. He is extremely good in doing fights. His casual action is also good. One would have suspected a little about his dialogue delivery before watching the film. And he is really good at delivering dialogues. There is a bit of bass in his voice which can be used for uttering powerful dialogues. And most importantly there is a bit of innocence and cuteness in his face which would make it an ideal choice for love stories as well. He has got everything right in his first film and with proper career planning only sky is the limit. To sum up in one line, Ram Charan Teja has all the qualities to become the future mega star!

Others: Neha Sharma did the role of a haughty girl. Since her character is an irritating one, it causes a bit of inconvenience to the viewers. The voice of dubbing artist was also rendered at high pitch which is not good. Asish Vidyardhi did a limited, but vital role in the film. Prakash Raj did the role of over-protective rich dad of the heroine. Ali’s comedy as eunuch and his slang is humorous if you ignore the vulgarity aspect in it. MS Narayana is alright.

Story - screenplay - direction: The story of the film is prepared in such a way that it exploits and exhibits various histrionic aspects from the debut hero. That is the reason why the film starts with a sentiment scene, followed by action episode and then continued with romantic escapades. Hence, the story of the film became a hotchpotch one. Puri Jagan’s mark is there is certain scenes of the film, but his typical characterization is missing. He succeeded in showing Ram Charan’s entry in an exciting style. The editing cuts and stylish taking in hero’s introduction scene are excellent. Puri Jagan succeeded in presenting the hero very well. But in the process, he did not do justice to the story and screenplay. The second half should have been better.

Movie line - Ghandhi Giri wit entertainment.
THE MOVIE IS CARRYING HIT TALK.

First half of the film is excellent and is totally entertaining. The second half is good, and has less entertainment towards climax as emotions had to catch up. The plus points of the film are Chiranjeevi's all-round performance, PRABUDEVS handling of emotional scenes, nice storyline, music and comedy. In emotional films, we find less entertainment. In entertaining films, we find less emotion. Here is one film that is blended with both emotion and entertainment in a wonderful way. And this film has something to offer to every cross-section of audiences. 'Shankardada MBBS' is a universal film that would appeal to both classes and masses. With Telugu film industry being in crisis at present, Shankar Dada ZINDABAD would surely bring smiles to the buyers, film industry and most importantly to the audiences. This film has got great repeat value. It is a must watch film!!

There was a dialogue which needs to be mentioned here. The dialogue is " Ee area ani nannu aduguthavuraa, ee andhra lo anni areas naavee raa" This dialogue came our really well.

The introduction of Chiranjeevi is terrific in SDZ as the the scene involves little bit introduction by Srikanth about CHIRU. Fans will go ga ga about the dialogue. One of the gunda asks Chiranjeevi and Srikanth about there identity and Srikanth say's " Anna CHIRUTHA kee AYYA, Fikar Cheyyaku Bhayya" in Telangana dialect and this dialogue will a surprise to all fans as every will think these kind of dialogues in Chirutha on contrary, we have seen scenes about Chirutha in his dad's movie.

There is another dialogue in the movie, that was told by Shiyagi Shinde, that " eedi vaalakam chustunte raajakeyalloki vachettu vunnadu. "

Hilights :: Devi Sriprasad in Good Morning Hyderabad song
Prabhu deva, allu arjun, ravi teja in Jagadeka veruniki song
Pawan Kalyan in Abhisheik's role + last fight (When people are hitting chiru)
Yaana Guptha in aakalesthe song

Positive Points :: First half comedy and superb taking of songs and more obviously chiru's dances.
Negative Points :: Heroine and sentimental scenes in which people hit our chiru..(fans ki idi nachaledu mari.. oka chempa meda kodithe rendo chepma chupinchatam)

Fans Talk :: First half superbb.. assalu time teliyaledu..comedy kummindi mama.. mega star iragadesadu.. second half baledu.. boring..too senti :( heroine worst ga vundi..

ZINDABAD ZINDABAD SHANKAR DADA ZINDABAD.

Chiranjeevi Shankardada Zindabad Review

Story: In order to meet and impress radio jockey, Jahnavi(Karishma kotak), Shankar Prasad alias Shankardada(Chiranjeevi) dons the guise of a Gandhian Professor, wins a contest, appears on the radio, has a date with Jahnavi, gets to meet Jahnavi's family, consisting of six elderly gentlemen who live at a palatial house called '2nd Innings', and wins a place in her heart. While Shankardada, Jahnavi, and the residents go on a trip to Goa, '2nd Innings' is taken over by builder Raja Lingam(sayaji shinde) , who intends to give this away as a dowry gift for his daughter(Sada), when she gets married to Suresh(Pawan Kalyan). An enraged Shankardada is all set to confront Raja Lingam and seize the house back, but decides to do it the Gandhian way-Gandhigiri.How he influence the lives of many other people with the gandhigiri and wins the love of Jahnavi is the rest of the story.

Highlights:
Concept(Rajkumar Hirani) of the film is the very highlight.Setting things right with gandhigiri with evoking the human side of inhuman people is excellent.

The concept of the film is of top "class" and is very complex to make it as a movie appealing to all classes(especially in Telugu). Some one with a Mega image can only take it to the masses.Chiranjeevi is successful in doing so with this film. It's a different film for Chiranjeevi too.His performance is of top class.

Prabhu deva did his best to present the film with the exact flavour. Most of the scenes, dialogues are true replica of the original Lage Raho Munnabhai..he is successful in inserting as many as comic elements whenever possible.Though he didn't choreograph the songs...one can see his touch in the songs too.

Music (Devisri Prasad) is good. 3 Songs are very good on screen with decent choreography and colourful sets.
Paruchuri brothers dialogues are ok(mostly translations).climax scene dialogues are good.
First half is good with comedy(college scene is hilarious) and good songs.second half is ok.
Climax is good with neat dialogues and the presence of Pawan Kalyan.

Side lights:
Heroine is bad.she is not good at either looks or performance.she is not even elegible for a 5minutes of item song in a Chiranjeevi movie.
Chiranjeevi looks stout.
Audience who have seen Lage Raho Munnabhai aren't fully satisfied with this movie.

Etc.., Etc..,
Raviteja,Allu Arjun,Nagababu appears in Jagadeka veeruniki song.
Brahmanandam,Gundu Hanumantha rao done the regular roles of astrologers as guru& sishya.MS Narayana,Sunil appears for a while and all of them did their jobs well.

Public Talk: worth watching
Industry talk: It's a different film for Chiranjeevi with no regular heavy dialogues, fights and less entertaining compared to Shankardada MBBS..but it won't disappoint anybody who step into the theatre. It will work at the Box Office with the strength of Chiranjeevi, and heavy promotion of the producers(Gemini TV).This biggest ever release will grab the max.openings but may not sustain in the long run.
